Who we are
PixNip is made by LEGAL_NAME, CITY, Iceland (“we”, “us”). Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record: it handles payment, invoicing and sales tax or VAT.
The free version
You may download PixNip and use the free version on any number of Macs, for personal or commercial work, at no cost.
The trial
Every download includes 14 days of PixNip Pro. When the trial ends, PixNip switches to the free version. Nothing you made is locked or deleted.
PixNip Pro
- Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
- Your license key unlocks Pro on up to 3 Macs that you own or use. You can move it between Macs in Settings → License.
- It includes every 1.x update. A future major version (2.0) may be a paid upgrade, with a discount for existing customers.
- Licenses are for you or, if bought by a company, for one named person. Don't share or resell your key.
Refunds
If PixNip Pro isn't right for you, email hello@pixnip.app within 14 days of your purchase, with your order number, and we'll refund you in full. No questions asked. Refunded licenses are deactivated. This doesn't affect any rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
Your screenshots
Everything you capture or create with PixNip belongs to you. PixNip processes it on your Mac and never uploads it on its own. See the Privacy Policy.
License to use the software
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use PixNip as described above. You may not reverse engineer, modify or redistribute the app, or get around its licensing, except where the law allows it.
Warranty and liability
We work hard to make PixNip reliable, but it is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for PixNip. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. Changes never take away a license you already bought. The version on this page applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Iceland, without affecting the protections of the consumer law where you live.
